In short, this site is here to help you feel incredible.
As women, we have A LOT on our plates; family, work, friendships, and everything in-between, it’s often difficult to “balance it all” (let alone find time for ourselves.)
I certainly battled with this hurdle throughout grad school; between teaching classes, writing my dissertation, and working 2-3 jobs, I scheduled nearly every moment of my day.
No matter how full my calendar got, however, the one thing that never took the back burner was my wellness. I made time for exercise and eating right no matter what.
Why?
Because it was good health that kept me going strong. It was good health that kept me leaping those hurdles. And it was good health that provided my much-needed self-care.
Flash forward several years, and I began my career as a professor. I struggled greatly with work-life balance and learning how to “unplug” from work at the end of the day. It was then that I discovered the third component of wellness: personal development.
I realized the incredible value that self-reflection, meditation, and gratitude offers. I realized the importance of finding that quiet time to just be. And I discovered the power of practicing these things regularly.
And suddenly, things fell into place.
Wellness is not simply regular exercise or eating right. Rather, wellness is a daily practice of all three pillars: fitness, nutrition, and personal development.
Upon making this discovery and experiencing the positive impact it’s had on my life, I’m inspired to share what I’ve learned with busy women like you.
I understand demanding schedules. I know what it’s like to have only brief pockets of time. And I know how frustrating it feels when every spare moment is scheduled.
But I also know how liberating it is to be in control of your life, to feel confident in your body, and to show up with full energy, ready to tackle each day.
And I can’t wait to share that with you.
